STU/GT3U consolidation

Thanks for your letter Dave. Some changes need to be made in order to accomplish SCCA’s goal to improve the Runoffs experience
by limiting to 18 run groups and, longer term, 18 well subscribed single class National championship races. This requires some class
consolidations or the elimination of Runoffs-eligible, under-subscribed classes. STU/GT3U is one of these consolidations with close
enough BoP to be successful and potentially encourage growing participation. The CRB and SCCA hope to conclude this consolidation
for 2026. Since the 2025 Runoffs, data is being analyzed and some additional adjustments will be made to the GT3U specifications.
All involved desire fair and equitable BoP before the final consolidation. TCR cars have been moved to T2 which should be a better
class for these cars. We intend to continue collecting and analyzing data in order to quickly apply any additional adjustments to
insure BoP as equitable as possible. We all desire an STU class with two rule sets that has fair BoP and encourages participation

growth over time. We also hope and encourage all involved advisory committees remain positive and encourage future participation
in STU.
