E&O Clarification of Bodywork Rules
#32468 from Club Racing Board · Rule change · TB 22-05 (2022-04 Fastrack)
In P1, GCR section 9.1.8.B.C.2, add the following:
"Cycle-type fenders (which that cover only the tire and are not continuous with the rest of the body) and may thereby permit a
view of the ground from above are prohibited."
In P1, GCR section 9.1.8.B.C.3, add the following:
"As viewed from the side, T the outermost surface of body between the front and rear wheel openings and above the floor must
have a minimum height equal to the height of the front axle centerline."
In P1, GCR section 9.1.8.B.D.1, add the following:
"It is not permitted to duct air through any part of the bodywork for the purpose of providing aerodynamic downforce on the

car. This prohibition includes openings above the front spoiler or splitter that allow air to pass through the front bodywork for the
purpose of providing aerodynamic downforce."
