Thank you for your letter and bringing up this idea. The Prod Advisory Committee would have no problem with considering such
a circumstance on a case-by-case basis, but don't see a need or a path forward for creating a sweeping allowance in the
Production Ruleset for such a thing. Again though, if someone wanted to make a request to classify a specific turbocharged
vehicle into the Production category, but without the turbocharger, that is a discussion that would certainly be had and studied
for feasibility.
